Personal information is collected from donors who donate through our “Donate Now” page. How do we use your information?
Personal information is used primarily to process your donation and to provide you with a donation receipt for tax purposes.
FOCUS Canada does not share your name, postal address or email address with any other organization without your consent. FOCUS Canada may, however, share your information with third parties and/or worldwide affiliates in the following situations:
a) to complete your request, including processing your donation transaction and/or replying to queries made via the email address in the ‘Contact Us’ page of our website. d) to better understand donor needs and profiles, and assess improvement in services,
e) to contact you about an upcoming FOCUS/ affiliate event or to conduct online surveys; and
f) to share your information with the authorities in response to a legal order or official request, or when we believe you have acted in violation of our Terms of Use.
You may opt out of email communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link that is included at the bottom of every email communication from FOCUS Canada.
Do we disclose any of your information to third parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties. This does not include trusted third parties who assist FOCUS Canada in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
